Export Overview and CSV

NotedWP lets you get feedback out of WordPress and into the tools your team already uses. This page covers the export system and the CSV format available on all plans.

Where to Export From

You can trigger exports from two places.

Overlay Export

While using the overlay on the front end, select one or more pins, then choose an export destination from the toolbar. This is the fastest way to push specific feedback items to an external tool.

Admin Export

In the WordPress admin, you have two options.

  • Feedback page: Use the bulk action dropdown to export selected rows.
  • Export page (Noted > Export): A dedicated interface with filters for building custom exports.

CSV Export

CSV export is available on all plans, including Free. No license upgrade is required.

Filters

When exporting to CSV, you can narrow the results using three filters.

  • Page: Export feedback from a specific page only.
  • Status: Export only open pins, only resolved pins, or all pins.
  • Breakpoint: Export pins from a specific breakpoint (desktop, tablet, or mobile).

Include Options

Choose what data to include in the CSV file.

  • Comments: Pin content and all replies.
  • Annotations: Drawing data associated with pins.
  • Text edits: Suggested text changes attached to pins.

Download

The CSV file downloads directly to your browser. No intermediate step is required.

Export Records

Every export you perform is logged in the noted_exports database table. This gives you a history of what was exported, when, and to which destination.

Integrations Page

The full list of available export destinations is shown at Noted > Integrations. Each integration card displays the service name, a brief description, and the current connection status (connected, not configured, or unavailable on your tier).

For details on specific integrations, see the following pages.
