M13 Managed Mode

M13 Managed Mode allows Mountain Thirteen Media to provision NotedWP access for their agency clients. Instead of purchasing a license key directly, clients receive a client token from their agency contact.

What Is M13 Managed Mode

When Mountain Thirteen Media manages your NotedWP installation, they provide a client token that replaces the standard license key. This token grants Pro-equivalent access to all NotedWP features without requiring you to manage a separate subscription.

Activating with a Client Token

1. Go to Noted > Settings > License in the WordPress admin.
2. Find the Agency Client Token field (below the standard license key input).
3. Paste the token provided by Mountain Thirteen Media.
4. Click Activate.

The plugin validates the token and configures your site automatically.

What Happens After Activation

Several things change once the client token is activated.

Feature Access

Your site receives full Pro-equivalent access. All overlay tools, integrations, unlimited pins, and unlimited pages are available.

M13 Export Integration

An M13 export integration is auto-configured during activation. This integration allows feedback to flow directly to Mountain Thirteen Media’s internal systems. You do not need to set up credentials or configure anything manually.

UI Changes

• The text “Managed by Mountain Thirteen” appears in the admin dashboard sidebar and the Settings page.
• The overlay toolbar displays an M13 badge.
• The M13 integration card on the Integrations page is locked and cannot be modified or disconnected. This prevents accidental disruption of the managed export pipeline.

Revocation

Mountain Thirteen Media can revoke your client token at any time. When revocation occurs, the following happens.

• The plugin drops to free-tier functionality.
• A revocation notice appears in the WordPress admin, explaining that managed access has been removed.
• The auto-configured M13 export integration is cleaned up and removed.
• Any pins or data you created remain in your database. Only the license status and managed integration are affected.

After Revocation

If your managed access is revoked, you can continue using NotedWP on the free tier. You can also purchase your own Pro or Agency license at any time by following the standard activation process. Your existing data carries over regardless of how your license status changes.
