Pro Integrations (Asana, Trello, Slack)
Pro-tier licenses unlock three integrations for pushing feedback to external task management and communication tools. All three follow the same pattern: configure credentials, test the connection, and export manually when you are ready.
Asana
Configuration
Go to Noted > Integrations and find the Asana card. Click Configure and enter the following.
- Access Token: Your Asana personal access token. Generate one from your Asana developer settings.
- Workspace: The Asana workspace where tasks will be created.
- Project: The specific project within that workspace.
Click Save when all fields are filled.
Test Connection
Click Test Connection to verify that NotedWP can reach Asana with the credentials you provided. A success or failure message appears immediately.
How Export Works
When you export pins to Asana, each pin becomes a task. The task includes the pin content, page URL, reviewer name, breakpoint, and any replies. Annotations and text edits are included as task description content.
Trello
Configuration
Find the Trello card on the Integrations page. Click Configure and enter the following.
- API Key: Your Trello API key, available from the Trello developer portal.
- Token: A Trello authorization token granting write access to your boards.
- Board ID: The ID of the Trello board where cards will be created.
- List ID: The ID of the specific list within that board.
Click Save when all fields are filled.
Test Connection
Click Test Connection to confirm that NotedWP can access your board and list. A success or failure message appears immediately.
How Export Works
When you export pins to Trello, each pin becomes a card on the specified list. The card title is the pin content (truncated if long), and the card description contains the full pin details, page URL, reviewer info, and any replies.
Slack
Configuration
Find the Slack card on the Integrations page. Click Configure and enter the following.
- Webhook URL: A Slack incoming webhook URL. Create one from your Slack app settings.
- Channel: The channel where messages will be posted.
Click Save when both fields are filled.
Test Connection
Click Test Connection to send a test message to your configured channel. Check Slack to confirm it arrived.
How Export Works
When you export pins to Slack, each pin is posted as a message using Slack’s block formatting. The message includes the pin content, page URL, reviewer name, status, and any replies. Each pin is a separate message.
Important Notes
All three integrations are manual and on-demand. NotedWP does not automatically push pins to any service. You choose which pins to export and when. This gives you full control over what reaches your external tools.
